Bhintuna Vaidya is an Environmental Science graduate on a path to an impactful career aimed at the betterment benefit of the planet. She completed her bachelor’sdegreein2020from Kathmandu University, Dhulikhel. She has worked as the  editor of Headlines  Himalaya-An Environmental Watchdog. Believing that education means giving back to the community, she has participated and volunteered in  many community programs  from Rotoract  club  of  Mahabouddha.  She  is  former International Service Director  and  currently  working  as  Joint  Secretary  in Rotoract  club  of Mahabouddha. Being  a  recent  graduate  in  the  environment  sector, she always  wanted  to  pursue her career  in research and development work. Passionate about sustainability, she has conducted research on bachelor’s final year project on a conceptual nexus analytical framework based on water footprint that was developed to assess how Kathmandu University interacts with the energy, food, and water resources and leads towards a sustainable university thus contributing to a lower water footprint. She  is  keen  to  contribute to the  improvement  of  contemporary  environmental  issues,  mainly focusing  on  development  of  water and  energy sectors in  Nepal. Her area  of  interests mainly includes food-water-energy nexus, sustainability, and climate change. She is currently working as a research fellow in ACAIED Nepal.
