Nirmita Shrestha

Nirmita Shrestha is a student of Master’s in Conflict, Peace and Development Studiesat Tribhuwan University. She was a NORHED scholar and studied at the University of Ruhuna, Matara, Sri Lanka as an exchange student during her Master studies.She holdsa Bachelor’s degree in Business Administrationfrom Kathmandu Model Collegeand a Graduate Diploma degree inSocial Sciences from Nepā School of Social Sciences and Humanities. She has conducted a field research in Palpa district for the research project entitledEvaluation of the Welfare Impacts of a Livestock Transfer in Nepal. She has worked as aResearch Assistant forMr. Ramesh Sunam, Professor in Human Geography at Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan.
